Current Study – Assurance of Salvation | 1 John
There are some things in life that are important to know for sure. At the top of the list is assurance of salvation. Words we read repeatedly in 1 John are “and we know.” John writes with absolute certainty about who Jesus is and what it really means to know Him as your personal Lord and Savior. If you want to settle the question of eternal life or you want to be equipped to help others who struggle in this area, please consider coming to this study.

Cornerstone Institute
Beginning Sept. 8, Ryan Swedberg will teach an 8-week class on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM in the Middle School Room called Bible Interpretation: Why So Much Disagreement? This class explains how different Christians interpret the Bible and the various interpretive systems that then result. By the conclusion of the class, attendees should have a grasp of how to correctly interpret the Bible and better understand how they can put the grand storyline of the Bible together from Genesis to Revelation.
Equipping the Saints
Starting Sept. 3, Gary Meeks will teach a Tuesday night class (same schedule as Warriors), meeting from 6:40-7:40PM in the 750 Building. How do you help someone with trials, anger, worry, or depression? What about a couple that is having marital trouble, communication problems, or working through deep issues? The Word of God clearly addresses all these issues and more. This class helps equip believer to better apply the Word of God to their own heart first and then faithfully minister to others.
Steadfast
Beginning September 8, Blake Gillen will teach an 11-week class on the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. This class will meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45AM in the Middle School Room. We aim to glorify God as we seek a better understanding of what the Bible teaches about who the Holy Spirit is and how the Holy Spirit works in the life of every believer to help them glorify Christ in their everyday life.
Fundamentals
Leroy Welch will be offering a 5-week class starting 9/8 that blends basic biblical truth with personal obedience and service. This course is for young believers desiring to grow in their understanding of biblical truths, or new believers desiring to better understand the basics of being a disciple of Jesus. Topics include “Why can I trust the Bible?”, “How can I develop a stronger prayer life?”, “How can I discover my spiritual gift?,” and more. This class meets in the Conference Room from 9:00AM.
