Throughout the school year during each service, classes are available for children fifth grade and younger. The nursery is open all year round!
With joy, we strive to teach the next generation the Word of God. We use Grace curriculum that is designed to walk the student through both the Old and New Testament over three years. Sunday School classes attend Children’s Church with their teachers that includes worship through song and group activities followed by the return to classrooms for detailed teaching of the lesson. The students are challenged with memory verses and Catechism during their time in the classroom.
Our needs for Sunday School volunteers are listed below. If interested, please contact Mary Steele at mary@discovercbc.org!

Our theme for Vacation Bible School 2025 is Wonder Junction: Marvel at Jesus, Live for His Glory Kids will learn how to marvel at Jesus and live for his glory! They will focus on discovering who Jesus is and what he’s done for us. VBS will run from June 2-6, 9am-12pm each day. You can register here.
VBS at Cornerstone would not be possible without the help of many volunteers! It takes approximately 225 volunteers to serve in ministering to the over 400 children that attend each day. There are many different volunteer positions available including: Music/Drama, Crafts, Snacks, Decorations, Nursery, Prayer Team, Registration, Medical, Security, Games, and more!
Warriors is a Children’s Ministry that meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thank you everyone who joined us for the 2023-2024 year of Warriors! Warriors will be back starting September 3 for the 2024-2025 school year for children ages four (as of September 1) through fifth grade.
Warriors exists to have specific gospel sharing opportunities with the children of our church and community. Engaging, age-appropriate expository teaching is the springboard for disciple-making relationships. Small groups, object lessons, games and songs fill the evening with an active schedule to proclaim Christ. This year our curriculum includes lessons on the Church, the Bible, and End Times.
